What is Graphic Design?
Most people have a vague idea of how the right graphic design actually helps.
Well, here’s the thing, Graphic design is all around you - from your shampoo bottle to your coffee bag and all the way to the process of ordering your pizza online.
It’s an art with purpose as well as visual communication between you and your consumer. Design is everywhere you look, and it’s what will send your message across loud and clear.

Working with various graphic elements and tools, we are here to interpret your needs into the perfect design that will not only represent your company but one that will attract as well as impact and highlight important areas which will strengthen the sales of your product or your area of direction.

How do I send you my artwork?

If you would like to email us your files, please Contact Us, and we will contact you with an email address to attach your files.

 Accepted File Types

Accepted files and formats are:

PDF, TIF, JPEG, EPS, AI, and PSD (Must convert all layers into artwork format/flattened before submission)

Please make sure your design is converted into artwork (converted to curves).

Fonts

Please convert your fonts to curves before sending us your artwork.  If we do not have a particular font used in your artwork, we will not be able to open it properly.

If you do not have a way to convert your fonts to curves, please attach your fonts with your artwork.

Resolution of Files

We require a minimum resolution of 300 dpi or higher at 100% print size, or 300-500 dpi at 50% the print size, and submitted files such as TIF, PSD, JPEG, etc.

Vector-based files such as EPS or AI Resolution are irrelevant, and files can be adjusted, reduced or enlarged to almost any size without losing print quality.

Color Mode

Save your design in RGB MODE, and we can also work with CMYK files.

(JS Typography is not responsible for color shift or change in color tones)

Artwork Size

We recommend submitting files at 100% final print size.

If not possible, you may also design and save your graphic files at 50% (300 dpi or higher) or 25% (400-600 dpi) of the final print size.

(Please Indicate the final output enlargement size percentage when submitting the file).

You may send Vector files such as EPS, AI, or PDF in any size as long as there are no JPG, TIFF, or PNG included in the artwork. Please make sure you provide us with the final outcome size.

Tips and Helpful notes for digital printing needs

Must save JPEG files with the maximum quality setting checked.

Artwork must have at least a 1.25 ” Safety Area for hem and grommet or wrap at final print size.

Important note: Please do not place important objects, text, and key elements too close to the edge of your artwork files as they may be trimmed off, wrapped, hemmed, or grommet-ed during finishing of your sign. For the best results keep your key elements of your design 1” to 1.5 ” inside the edges.

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT ALL FINAL IMAGES/ARTWORK WILL BE SENT TO THE EMAIL PROVIDED FOR APPROVAL.  WE WILL NOT BEGIN ON THE PRODUCTION OF ANY DECAL/PRINT UNTIL WE RECEIVE YOUR FINAL APPROVAL.
